RISHTA: A Mobile App for Rural Development in Uttar Pradesh
RISHTA, developed by Triline Infotech Pvt Ltd, is a free mobile application designed to support the Uttar Pradesh Rural Livelihood Mission and the Department of Rural Development in their effort to eradicate poverty and provide easy access to government schemes and benefits to Self Help Groups (SHGs) in rural areas. With this app, SHG members associated with the mission can easily access the benefits of government schemes without having to visit government offices, saving them time, energy and money.
The RISHTA app provides several features that include access to information on government schemes, applying for benefits, and receiving the financial benefits of schemes directly into the bank accounts of SHG members, without the need for any intermediaries. This app will not only help rural people to easily avail of government schemes, but it will also help to prevent corruption and malpractices in the distribution of benefits.
